About The Position

Join our team as an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon in Rapid City, South Dakota. This role is at a state-of-the-art facility supporting a busy Level II Trauma Program. You will work alongside a dedicated team of hospitalists, ER physicians, and trauma surgeons, with 24/7 PA coverage. PAs are first call, ensuring you can focus on high-level surgical care. You will treat both acute hand and upper extremity trauma as well as perform elective hand surgeries, with a focus on building your elective practice. There are no billing or coding responsibilities, allowing you to focus solely on delivering top-notch surgical care. The schedule involves 10-14 shifts in succession, working through the Ortho Trauma Service.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Hand Surgery.

Nice To Haves

• Recent or current experience in Orthopedic Hand Surgery preferred.
