Orthopedic Sports Medicine APP- PA / NP
About The Position
This opportunity primarily involves working in the inpatient space as an independent practitioner, addressing needs such as rounding, discharge planning, emergency department procedures, consults, and follow-up care. Occasionally, the Advanced Practice Professional (APP) may assist in the operating room or outpatient clinical setting as required. Atrium Health Lincoln Hospital is a 101-bed hospital that offers a 24/7 emergency department, operating rooms, and subspecialty services. Atrium Health MSKI Lincolnton boasts a team of board-certified orthopedic surgeons and non-operative sports medicine physicians. Requirements
- Active North Carolina licensure (PA or Acute Care NP)
- Must possess or be eligible for a DEA license
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program required
Nice To Haves
- Prior orthopedic experience preferred
- NCCPA certification (PA) or national board certification (Acute Care NP) preferred
