About The Position

Concentra is seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon to work on-site as a 1099 independent contractor. This contract role is designed to complement your existing practice. You will typically treat patients at Concentra for approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. As an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon, you will assist in managing medically complex patients, facilitating their return to work and functional restoration. Collaborating with medical and therapy providers, you will offer both non-surgical and surgical specialist services for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries. Additionally, you will engage with employers and actively participate in case management. The treatments provided will significantly impact the lives of those seeking care and comfort.

Requirements

• Licensure requirements of the state of practice
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
• Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
• Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries

Responsibilities
