About The Position
This is a full-time position with 36 weekly hours on the day shift. A sign-on bonus is eligible for experienced candidates. The unit is comprised of two 24-bed all-private room Orthopedic units, functioning as a post-operative surgical telemetry floor specializing in Orthopedics. The Orthopedic program is recognized by US News and World Report as a high-performing hospital in knee replacements. New Graduate Nurses are welcome.
Requirements
- Active Kentucky RN License
- BCLS required

- ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Assesses and identifies patient needs and implements appropriate interventions.
- Establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care.
- Assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems.
- Performs technical aspects of care competently.
- Acts as a family and patient resource to guide them through all stages of the patient’s orthopedic journey.
