About The Position

The Physician Assistant is a state licensed mid-level practitioner responsible for primary healthcare services to patients in the physician practice setting and hospital in accordance with established policies and procedures of McBride Orthopedic Hospital Physicians. This is a safety sensitive position.

Requirements

• The Physician Assistant must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the American Associations Council on Medical Education.
• The PA must be registered with the DEA and OSBNDD.
• Must possess Basic Life Support Certification for healthcare providers.
• Possess or be willing to obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Orthopedics in a healthcare hospital setting.
