Orthopedic Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (PRN As-Needed)
About The Position
Community Hospital is seeking an Orthopedic Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to support multiple Orthopedic Surgeon practices on an as-needed (PRN) basis. This role will be primarily surgery-based but may also involve clinical support. Community Hospital is a 60-bed acute-care hospital serving the Grand Valley of Colorado, recognized for its high-quality care and outstanding patient experience. Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, which serves as the exclusive Sports Medicine physicians for local high schools, university sports, and a minor league hockey team, is an accredited Joint Commission Orthopedic Center of Excellence.
Requirements
- Must be a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Previous Orthopedic Surgery experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work on an as-needed basis (no guaranteed hours).
Responsibilities
- Support multiple Orthopedic Surgeon practices on an as-needed (PRN) basis.
- Provide surgery-based support.
- Potentially provide clinical support.
