About The Position

Reno Orthopedic Center (ROC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Part Time Physical Therapy Aide (20 hours or less/wk) to join their team. This role is crucial in supporting patient care by preparing patients and treatment areas for therapy sessions, and assisting therapists in delivering safe and effective care. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Experience providing customer service.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
Travel to other clinic locations based on manager discretion.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after patient appointments, including cleaning and maintaining safety.
Greet patients and direct them to the appropriate treatment area.
Assist therapists with the non-treatment aspects of therapy services following universal precautions.
Demonstrate proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
Ensure patient safety at all times, noting any risk factors and communicating with the therapist regarding patient issues or concerns.
Document activities, exercises, and outcomes as directed by the therapist in patient’s electronic medical record.
Maintain adequate levels of clinic supplies and linens.
