About The Position

Private Therapy Services (PTS) is seeking an Orthopedic Physical Therapist for their outpatient private practice. This role emphasizes true one-on-one patient care, allowing therapists to focus fully on each patient without the pressure of a high-volume schedule or strict protocols. Therapists will utilize their clinical judgment to understand patient symptoms, help them recover from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, persistent pain, and movement limitations, and build the strength and confidence to return to their desired activities. PTS is a locally owned, PT-led practice with over 20 years of service in the Charleston community, committed to providing excellent physical therapy through skilled, supported therapists who are given the time to do exceptional work.

Requirements

• A South Carolina Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure
• Strong orthopedic evaluation, clinical reasoning, and treatment skills
• A commitment to individualized, evidence-based patient care
• Clear communication and patient education skills
• A collaborative, dependable, and growth-oriented mindset
• An interest in continued clinical development

Nice To Haves

• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and post-operative needs.
• Combine evidence-based treatment, progressive exercise, patient education, and hands-on care to help patients reduce pain, restore movement, and return safely to work, recreation, athletics, and everyday life.
• Solve complex clinical problems, build meaningful patient relationships, and take ownership of the entire recovery process.
