About The Position

Enovis Corporation is an innovation-driven medical technology growth company focused on developing clinically differentiated solutions for better patient outcomes and transformed workflows. The Orthopedic Patient Care Representative will be a key member of the Field Services Team, playing an integral part in advancing the medical technology industry by transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes. This role is patient-focused and involves working with orthopedic soft goods, functional bracing, bone growth stimulation, and other Enovis products. The position requires a passion for patient care, experience with Durable Medical Equipment, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare practitioners and patients.

Requirements

  • A passion for providing excellent care to HCPs and patients, along with a strong desire to be part of a team dedicated to achieving extraordinary patient results.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital, healthcare facility, clinic, or physician’s office, or as an independent contractor working directly in the care of the orthopedic patient, or related experience required.
  • Demonstrated patient care experience.
  • Must satisfy third-party credentialing/screening requirements to gain access to hospital accounts.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience dealing with multiple physicians in a high-volume clinic is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Holds and maintains a Board of Certification (BOC) in Athletic Training, strongly preferred.
  • American Board for Certification (ABC) Certified Fitter-orthotics (CFo), Orthotic Fitter, Physical Therapy Certification, National Board for Certification of Orthopedic Technologists (NBCOT), BOC Physical Therapy Certification, or other relevant orthopedic/clinical certifications may also be considered.
  • Experience with and knowledge of insurance reimbursement/DME billing requirements

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for proper measuring and application, education on appropriate use/care, and providing accurate information to patients and Health Care practitioners (HCPs) on expected outcomes resulting from the use of orthopedic soft goods, functional bracing, bone growth stimulation, and all other Enovis products as prescribed by physicians/HCPs at the orthopedic practice.
  • Coordinates patient care for follow-up brace fitting appointments, as necessary.
  • Provides routine customer service to patients, physicians, physician assistants, and other clinical staff following established policies and procedures.
  • Verifies patient benefits using automation tools, including pre-authorization and/or upfront collection of patient responsibility.
  • Serves as a liaison between the customer, Enovis, and the Sales Team.
  • Responsible for achieving metrics and KPIs, as set forth by management, to ensure customer performance and efficiency comply with applicable Enovis agreements/contracts.
  • Adheres to all Enovis Compliance and Ethics Programs, OIG, government healthcare regulations, regulatory policies and procedures set forth by clinic/hospital, and HIPAA in accordance with government agency requirements.
