About The Position

Vancouver Clinic is hiring an Orthopedic Cast Technician to join our Orthopedics team at Salmon Creek 2. Under the direction of an orthopedic physician, you’ll provide hands-on patient care by applying, adjusting, and removing casts, splints, strappings, and traction; assisting with dressing changes and suture removal; obtaining X-rays; preparing exam rooms; maintaining clinical supplies; and teaching patients how to safely care for and use casts, braces, crutches, and canes. The clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions, including care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. The ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas is an essential function of all positions at the Clinic.

Requirements

WA State Medical Assistant-Registered obtained within state timeline and must be maintained in active status throughout employment
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Casting experience
Two years orthopedic experience
