About The Position

Prime Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our growing Surgery Clinic team at St. Mary's of Nazareth in Chicago. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a well-established outpatient setting. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 1 year's experience seeing patients in the clinic setting and serving as a 1st assist in the operating room. This full-time position in Orthopedic surgery requires 2 years of experience, involves serving as a 1st assist in the operating room, and follows a Monday-Friday schedule with no call responsibility. The role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, and the opportunity to collaborate closely with a team of physicians, APPs, and clinical support staff, managing your own patient panel with opportunities for continuity of care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year's experience seeing patients in the clinic setting
• Minimum of 1 year's experience serving as a 1st assist in the operating room
• Licensed and certified as Physician Assistant (PA)/ Nurse Practitioner NP in the state of Illinois
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in general surgery preferred
