Responsibilities
- Responsible for application and removal of casts, molds, splints and scoliosis plaster jackets; and the adjustment of external fixators, on the order of and under the direction of an orthopedic surgeon or other physician.
- Under the direct supervision of the Practice Manager and /or Registered Nurse (RN), performs a variety of administrative, clinical, departmental support, and documentation duties to promote the health, safety, and comfort of CT Children’s patients and families.
- Supports organizational and departmental quality and patient satisfaction initiatives; hand hygiene, communication skills, translation services, and Patient and Family Experience.
