About The Position

Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center (MSMOC) is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join an established practice. This role offers a turnkey, high-volume hand practice following the retirement of an existing surgeon, ensuring a seamless transition with an existing patient base. The position provides clinical autonomy, no trauma call, and a clear pathway to partnership. The surgeon will work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility located in a vibrant college town. The practice is the Official Orthopaedic Team Physicians for Ole Miss Athletics.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery and Hand Surgery.
• Fellowship-trained in Orthopaedic Hand Surgery.
• Eligible for or holding a valid Mississippi medical license.

Responsibilities

• Perform bread-and-butter hand surgeries with strong patient volume.
• Conduct a high case mix of CMC arthroplasties and wrist arthritis procedures.
• Incorporate nerve reconstruction and complex hand cases based on interest.
• Provide diverse surgical exposure including fractures and tendon lacerations.
• Participate in general orthopaedic call (no trauma).
