Yakima Orthodontics is looking for an experienced, bilingual Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join their growing team. This full-time opportunity supports the Yakima office with required travel to the Ellensburg location as needed. The ideal candidate is passionate about orthodontics, enjoys building relationships with patients, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented practice. They should be flexible, dependable, and excited to provide exceptional patient care wherever needed.

Requirements

• Previous orthodontic dental assisting experience is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Current Washington State Dental Assistant Registration.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with excellent organizational skills.
• Willingness and reliable transportation to travel between our Yakima and Ellensburg offices.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during a variety of clinical procedures.
• Place and remove orthodontic appliances as permitted by Washington State regulations.
• Take digital X-rays, photographs, and digital impressions/scans.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and orthodontic care.
• Deliver an outstanding patient experience by creating a welcoming and positive environment.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure an efficient and productive schedule.
