About The Position

Smile Doctors is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician to join their growing team. This role is responsible for delivering a positive clinical experience to all patients while strictly adhering to company policies and state dental laws, rules, and regulations, under the direction and close supervision of an Orthodontist. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability build rapport with patients
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and coworkers
• Ability to use hand tools
• Ability to set priorities regarding patient care, manage full schedules and multi-task

Nice To Haves

• Dental/Orthodontic industry experience preferred, but not required
• Radiography certification preferred, but not required
• CPR certification preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist
• Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe detailed doctor notes
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision of the Orthodontist
• Review remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, responding to direct patient messages, and triage notifications
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and operatory following standard protocols
• Adhere to all infection-control policies and protocols
