About The Position

An experienced Dental Billing Specialist / Dental Insurance Biller with strong knowledge of dental insurance claims, CDT coding, Medicaid billing, and insurance follow-ups. The Role Objective is to ensure accurate claims, fast payment, and minimal denials by managing the full lifecycle of dental insurance billing, including submission, follow-up, and resolution.

Requirements

• 3+ years of dental insurance billing experience
• Strong knowledge of CDT codes and insurance claim workflows
• Experience with Medicaid dental billing preferred
• Proven ability to reduce denials and manage claim follow-ups
• Experience with billing or practice management software
• High attention to detail and accountability
• Ability to work independently in a structured environment
• Reliable computer capable of running billing systems
• High-speed internet connection
• Professional, distraction-free workspace

Responsibilities

• Submit clean, accurate dental insurance claims using correct CDT codes
• Track and aggressively follow up on outstanding claims to ensure payment
• Handle commercial and state-sponsored plans including Medicaid
• Identify root causes of denials and correct issues quickly
• Post insurance payments accurately and reconcile discrepancies
• Explain insurance coverage and patient responsibility clearly
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready billing records
