About The Position

Meyer & Dana Orthodontics is looking for a friendly, hardworking Orthodontic Assistant to join their team. The company believes in creating confident smiles while building meaningful relationships with patients and teammates. Positions may include travel between their Rapid City, Spearfish, and Pierre locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assisting program preferred
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and the orthodontic team

Nice To Haves

• Orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred (but willing to train the right person!)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable and professional

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during orthodontic procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take records including photos, X-rays, and scans
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
• Help create an exceptional patient experience
