Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Dental Assistant (RDA) required
• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and appliances
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, patient-focused approach to patient care
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing quality patient care
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Take pride in supporting the orthodontic team

Nice To Haves

• Previous orthodontic assisting experience preferred
• Dental assisting experience will be considered

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during exams and orthodontic procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and orthodontic materials
• Place and remove arch wires, bands, and brackets as directed
• Take digital impressions, photos, and X-rays in compliance with safety standards
• Educate patients on appliance care and oral hygiene
• Maintain sterilization, infection control, and OSHA compliance
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
