Requirements

X-ray and CPR certification is required
Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice is preferred, but we will train the right person!
Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred

Nice To Haves

Additional certification or training is a plus
Experience with Cloud9 software or iTero scanners is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
Be able to complete adjustments and placement and removal of orthodontic appliances
Take and develop dental X-rays.
Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid-friendly environment.
