About The Position

Leone and Vaughn Orthodontics is seeking an enthusiastic Orthodontic Assistant to join their thriving practice in Seattle and Bellevue, WA. In this vital role, you'll support the practice by guiding people through their orthodontic journey while contributing to the practice's growth and success. This role would require travel to three office locations. The practice is part of Corus Orthodontists, a growing network of over 50 practices across North America.

Requirements

Orthodontic Assistant is preferred, or Registered Dental Assistant
Good understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with orthodontic/dental management software systems is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, comforting, and seating the patient.
Build positive relationships with patients, families, and coworkers to ensure the targeted outcome treatment remains on schedule.
Assist Orthodontist with consultations and all stages of orthodontic procedures.
Clean/disinfect operatories and sterilize instruments and devices.
Take x-rays, photos, impressions, and intraoral scans.
Provide patient instruction/education and provide reports to parents/guardians.
Generate correspondence for referring dentists and maintain detailed patient records.
