Ortho Adult Reconstruction - Advanced Practice Provider
About The Position
Carle Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Carle Orthopaedic Adult Reconstruction Team in Champaign-Urbana, IL. This practice opportunity involves joining an established total joint practice with 3 fellowship-trained Adult Reconstruction surgeons and 3 Advanced Practice Providers. The successful applicant will work primarily with one of our Total Joint Surgeons, but will collaborate with all 3 surgeons and 3 APP’s. The role includes assisting in the operating room, inpatient rounding, and a dedicated clinic time. There is also a rotational opportunity in a newly forming Injection Clinic. The practice is located within a 52,000 sq. ft. Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Building.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
- Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure
Responsibilities
- Work primarily with one of our Total Joint Surgeons in their practice
- Collaborate with all 3 surgeons and 3 APP’s
- Assist in the operating room
- Perform inpatient rounding
- Work in a dedicated clinic
- Participate in a rotational opportunity in a newly forming Injection Clinic
- Limited on-call rotation
