About The Position

The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) Clinician works as a staff member for the ORR Program. The Clinician reports to the Lead Clinician and/or Program Director. This role is responsible for coordinating clinical services, conducting mental health assessments, providing counseling interventions, monitoring students' well-being and adjustment to the program, assessing safety for release to a sponsor, training new clinicians, crisis intervention, and maintaining documentation. The ORR Clinician implements and manages the standards of care according to the guidelines of the ORR Program, ensuring compliance with records, documentation, and quality of care.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, sociology, marriage and family or other relevant behavioral discipline with direct clinical experience
  • Eligible for licensed or licensed (LMSW, LAC etc.)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Successfully pass criminal background clearance checks, drug screening, physical examination, and TB test
  • Ability to utilize resources available to complete assigned projects
