About The Position

We are seeking a ORION Spacecraft Technician Electrical, Senior in Kennedy Space Center, FL. This role involves performing a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of specific production units, developmental or prototype requirements in product development, manufacturing engineering or preproduction operations where documentation and guidance may be limited. The technician will work from schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components, using standard electronic assembly tools and materials. The role may also include performing modifications, rework, and quality testing.

Requirements

• Strong Electrical background stemming from harness fabrication, testing, and installation.
• High school diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks.
• 3+ years or more of experience.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Nice To Haves

• A&P (Airframe & Power-plant) license
