Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstration of technical leadership.
  • Understanding of systems engineering process.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Understanding of complex spacecraft systems.
  • Experience with root cause analysis.
  • US Citizenship required to perform this role.

Nice To Haves

  • ITEX process familiarity.
  • Experience working with international partners.
  • CAM Experience.
  • Project Management Certification.
  • Familiarity with mission integration or analysis.
  • Experience with Orion and Orion Systems.
  • Experience with NASA Customer.
  • Prior usage of Atlassian tools.

Responsibilities

  • Leads team of system integrators to understand all aspects of European Service Module (ESM) production and operation with respect to Orion integration.
  • Interfacing with international partner chief engineers to understand top technical issues and drive issues to closure.
  • Supports resolution of anomalies during tests and production operations.
  • Understands how the ESM performs to complete Orion mission objectives.
  • Reviews documentation to ensure compliance to requirements.
  • Responsible for verification and certification of requirements from ESM to Orion.
  • Supports ESM production and test activates to support Orion milestones.
  • Tracking and understanding clear work scope definitions.
  • Support proposal generation, and appropriately capturing ESM integration scope.
  • Supporting customer and ESM supplier program management.
