About The Position

ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) is seeking an ORION Quality Inspector, Associate at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The role performs electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks supporting production units, developmental or prototype requirements, product development, manufacturing engineering, or preproduction operations. Documentation and guidance may be limited. The position works from schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components, uses standard electronic assembly tools and materials, and may inspect modifications, rework, and quality testing.

Requirements

• High school diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks.
• Up to 2 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of production units, developmental or prototype requirements, product development, manufacturing engineering, or preproduction operations.
• Construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components using schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions.
• Use standard electronic assembly tools and materials.
• May inspect modifications, rework, and quality testing.
