We are seeking a highly experienced systems engineer to lead the Orion Integrated Test Lab Operations, including: Technical subject matter expert for the Orion Integrated Test Lab in Denver, which is used for system of systems integration, test, and verification of the Orion spacecraft avionics and software. Artemis III and future mission oversight of lab requirements, design, integration, test, certification, operations and maintenance Hands-on Lead integrator and direct involvement of integration and troubleshooting activities Coordinate long-term scheduling and strategic planning with the customer and responsible engineers Some 2nd shift/weekend support required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Background in an integrated avionics and software test environment
  • Demonstrated experience in reading and working to mechanical and electrical engineering drawings
  • Demonstrated experience leading test teams and troubleshooting anomalies
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • US Citizen required for this role

Nice To Haves

  • M.S. in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or related technical subject area
  • Experience with human spaceflight and NASA customer
  • Familiarity with Orion spacecraft architecture, subsystems and Orion Flight Software architecture
  • Certified Test Conductor (CTC) experience
  • Automation Framework and SAP/VECAMS experience
