About The Position

As an Origin Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth across your allocated territory by identifying new opportunities and helping small businesses find the right energy solutions for their needs. This is a dynamic field-based role where you’ll spend your days visiting businesses and walking your territory. You’ll be out meeting business owners face-to-face, building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and making a real impact while being backed by one of Australia’s most recognised energy brands!

Requirements

  • A current valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (mandatory)
  • Previous sales experience (B2B or direct sales highly regarded)
  • Strong objection-handling and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Confident speaking with people face-to-face
  • Motivated by achieving targets and earning commission
  • Comfortable working independently in a field environment
  • Energetic, proactive, and self-driven
  • Organised with strong communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Building and managing a sustainable sales pipeline
  • Generating new business opportunities through prospecting and referrals
  • Presenting Origin's electricity and gas solutions to prospective customers
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Growing Origin's market share within your territory
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
  • Delivering a positive customer experience from initial contact through to sale
