Summer OLT requirements include working 15+ hours a week in AAS from May 2026, through the weeks following Bear Beginnings (TBD). Position members will receive pay of $11.20 per hour. This monetary stipend is subject to all federal and state payroll taxes. Outside employment and/or any activities outside of OLT are permissible, but they may not conflict with any required OLT responsibilities, including office hours, additional hours as required by the Coordinator of New Student Programs, and/or dates of programs and events. Please consult with the Coordinator for approval before accepting an additional summer position or enrolling in summer classes. Your summer OLT commitment includes a paid vacation, towards the end of June/beginning of July. The team will return to the office on the decided date in early July to begin planning for Transfer Orientation, PA Training, and Bear Beginnings. Position members will receive pay of $11.20 per hour. This position reports directly to the Director of New Student Programs. OLT are paraprofessional staff members of the Office of Academic and Advising Services. As such, OLT will work in conjunction with: Tony Kemp, Senior Director Dr. Carol Bokros, Director of Pre-Professional Programs Dana Horsford, The Director of New Student Programs Erin Smith, The Coordinator of Pre-Graduate Programs Chine Stroud, Coordinator of Academic Programs Mallory Morgan, Administrative Secretary The AAS Graduate Assistant OLT may be asked for assistance by any of these staff members throughout the summer. Please note: work during the summer may require the knowledge of confidential, sensitive information. OLT is expected to handle any and all confidential, sensitive information appropriately.
