About The Position

Ensure that new driver orientation classes at Carter LOGISTEED Express are fully staffed with competent presenters and the curriculum used is current and being presented in a professional manner at all times. This position will manage the Mentee program and ensure the program is developing drivers up to Carter LOGISTEED’s standards.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education or High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years industry experience.
• Good organizational skills.
• General motor carrier knowledge.
• Good communication skills.
• Public speaking skills.
• Knowledge of all company polices and guidelines.
• Good at dealing with people.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook email required.
• Must have the ability to learn new programs as necessary.
• Solid work history and willingness to successfully function in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and monitor the performance of all assigned orientation employees.
• Teach any of the orientation classes as needed.
• Keep orientation information always updated.
• Ensure proper inventory levels of supplies.
• Coordinate driver rides to and from orientation/hotel.
• Prepare driver qualification files/Create driver profile in TMW for new hires.
• Complete 2nd attempt at employment verifications.
• Drug and alcohol collections
