The Organizer supports the work of MFPS and its clients, including Mi Familia Vota and Mi Familia en Acción, by building community power and advancing racial equity, economic justice, civic engagement, and other organizational priorities. This position focuses on base-building, grassroots organizing, leadership development, political education, and campaign implementation. The Organizer works directly with community members, particularly low-income and working-class families and communities of color, to develop leaders, strengthen member-led organizing efforts, and mobilize collective action. The ideal candidate is a relationship-centered organizer with experience in grassroots organizing or community leadership development. This individual understands the lived experiences and organizing conditions within Latino and other historically marginalized communities and is committed to helping community members grow as leaders and advocates.
