About The Position

We are looking for a dynamic professional to design and oversee programs that increase employee retention and overall performance. This role focuses on enhancing the employee experience throughout the entire career cycle by implementing strategic engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and monthly appreciation events. By analyzing workforce trends and collaborating with leadership, you will serve as a vital link in maintaining a positive, inclusive environment where staff feel valued and connected to our mission. The expectation of this role is to be available for onsite work as needed, typically on a weekly basis. Job Summary This role serves as a key internal consultant and institutional resource dedicated to enhancing organizational effectiveness, talent management, and the overall employee experience. The primary focus is to design, implement, facilitate, and evaluate comprehensive onboarding, leadership development, and culture-building programs that drive retention and engagement across all levels of the hospital staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Management, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in adult education or organizational development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ability to manage complex projects independently and translate initiatives into measurable outcomes like improved retention and performance.
  • Proven ability to foster empowerment, provide coaching, and lead through influence.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment with a specific emphasis on onboarding, employee experience, and leadership development.
  • Familiarity with DiSC Profiles and Crucial Conversations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, conducts, and revises hospital orientation and onboarding programs to ensure new hires understand organizational values and departmental operations.
  • Acts as an internal consultant on team building, conflict resolution, change management, and workforce development issues.
  • Collaborates with leadership to align development plans with succession planning, performance management, and career advancement opportunities.
  • Employs adult learning principles to create and facilitate effective education through various modes, including virtual, live, and computer-based learning systems (LMS).
  • Performs data-driven assessments to identify educational needs and organizational trends, tracking metrics to measure program effectiveness and ROI.
  • Partners with Human Resources, clinical educators, and department heads to coordinate initiatives that support employees throughout their entire career cycle.
  • Ensures educational activities meet regulatory requirements and professional practice standards.
