About The Position

The Organizational Development Director is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that support the professional development and continuous learning of employees. This role involves developing training programs and instructional resources, assessing training needs, creating training materials, and overseeing the delivery of both in-person and online training. The director will also facilitate leadership development courses, evaluate program effectiveness, and collaborate with department heads and the leadership team to align strategies with organizational goals. Ensuring compliance with training standards, staying updated on industry trends and technologies, and monitoring training outcomes are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • Degree in Organizational Development, Education, or Learning and Development, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in training and development
  • Experience in curriculum development and instructional design
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in organizational development
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to build partnerships and influence leaders at all levels and guide leadership development decisions throughout the business

Responsibilities

  • Design, implementation, and evaluation of programs to support professional development and continuous learning of employees
  • Develop training programs and instructional resources to meet organizational needs
  • Assess training and development needs through job shadowing, interviews, and consultation with managers
  • Create training materials and instructional content
  • Oversee the delivery of training programs, both in-person and online
  • Facilitate leadership development courses for field and office, adapting delivery depending on audience
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments
  • Collaborate with department heads and leadership team to align training programs and leadership development strategies with organizational goals
  • Ensure compliance with relevant training standards and regulations
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and training technologies
  • Monitor and report on training outcomes and employee progress
