About The Position

Organizations across Georgia are seeking support to strengthen internal processes, systems, and staff capacity so they can more effectively deliver on their missions. Nonprofit organizations play an important role in Georgia’s social, economic, and community development by supporting marginalized groups. Despite their stated missions and adaptability, many face ongoing challenges related to a restrictive legislative environment, limited funding, high staff turnover, and insufficient access to professional development. These challenges make it difficult to build strong internal systems, develop efficient processes, and sustain long-term growth. Gaps in planning, workflow management, and resource development slow the creation of effective programs and reduce opportunities for staff engagement, motivation, and retention. Without stronger organizational structures, these organizations struggle to maintain consistent services and advance initiatives that respond to community needs. As an Organizational Development Advisor, you will collaborate with mission-driven organizations to identify opportunities to improve operations, design more effective programs, and secure critical resources. By strengthening staff capacity, you’ll help organizations deliver higher-quality initiatives, reach more people, and expand opportunities for those they serve. Your collaborative efforts will contribute to more resilient communities and improved social and economic outcomes—especially for populations that have been historically marginalized.
