About The Position

This is an Open Rank Tenure Track faculty position in Organizational Behavior and Management, with a start date of Fall 2027. The rank will be determined by the candidate's experience and qualifications. The role involves teaching undergraduate and potentially graduate courses in organizational behavior and other management subjects to business students in residential programs. Faculty members are expected to maintain Scholarly Academic (SA) status through peer-reviewed publications and presentations, engage in professional development aligned with AACSB Accreditation standards, mentor students, and participate in departmental, college, and university service.

Requirements

  • Earned PhD or DBA (completed or near completion) in business management, organizational behavior, or a related business field.
  • Secondary interest in entrepreneurship, leadership, healthcare management, hospitality management, or human resources.
  • Strong record of relevant research and/or professional experience.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Proven college/university teaching experience, or strong promise in teaching.
  • Must be a professing Christian.
  • Must be willing to support the Christian mission of ACU.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and potentially graduate courses in organizational behavior and other management subjects.
  • Maintain Scholarly Academic (SA) status through a program of intellectual contributions (peer-reviewed publications and presentations).
  • Engage in professional development consistent with AACSB Accreditation.
  • Mentor students.
  • Accept departmental, college, and university service assignments.
