About The Position

As an Organic Coating Technician, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives! This role requires adherence to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), meaning only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply. Applicants must provide specific forms of identification such as a Passport, Birth Certificate, Certificate of Naturalization, or Permanent Resident Card.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
• Proficient with using a computer and basic understanding of Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or political asylee or refugee.
• Must provide one of the following forms of identification: Passport, Birth Certificate, Certificate of Naturalization (USCIS Form N-550 or N-570), or Permanent Resident Card (USCIS Form I-551).

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working in a production environment with a high level of safety awareness.
• Following all PPG safety protocols and encouraging a broad safety culture.
• Applying organic coatings to acrylic, polycarbonate, and glass substrates.
• Working in a cleanroom environment that requires wearing PPE.
• Working with solvents such as I.P.A and Acetone.
• Maintaining good record keeping skills.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Positively contributing to a team environment.
• Collaborating with team members and supporting team engagement initiatives.
• Performing TPMs on equipment.
• Wearing a respirator.
• Monitoring UV curing robots.
