About The Position
The Organ Preservation Specialist is responsible for procurement activities related to the surgical removal, preservation, and transportation of organs. This involves working collaboratively with department staff members, physicians, and organ procurement organizations.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program
- 2 years of operating room experience as a Surgical Technologist or Experience with organ preservation
- BLS certification Upon Hire
- CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Certification as a Surgical Technologist Upon Hire or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Licensed as an LPN Upon Hire
Nice To Haves
- CTP - Certified Transplant Preservationist
- CPTC - Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator
