New England Donor Services (NEDS) is seeking an experienced ICU RN, Critical Care RN, Trauma Nurse, or Critical Care Respiratory Therapist to join their team. As a Donation Coordinator, you will respond on-site to organ donor referrals to provide clinical expertise in donor evaluation, donor management, organ allocation, and organ recovery. This role involves blending high-level clinical and people skills to educate hospital staff on the donation process, work with donor families to obtain consent for donation, and collaborate with multiple surgical teams and critical care staff to optimize organs for transplantation. Success requires a self-assured professional with keen clinical assessment skills, flexibility, and the ability to remain calm and effective in highly charged and clinically complex situations. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with a hybrid schedule, and is ideal for candidates living within an hour of Boston and Boston North, MA. The next New Hire Donation Academy Orientation class is scheduled for September 2026.
