HonorBridge is seeking a positive, energetic, and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Organ Administrator on Call (AOC). HonorBridge is the largest Organ Procurement Organization in North Carolina, partnering with hospitals, transplant centers, and other partners to coordinate the organ and tissue donation process. We are passionate about inspiring our community to register as organ and tissue donors and provide support to the families of those who give the gift of life. The Organ Administrator on Call (AOC) provides real-time clinical and operational leadership for organ donation activity across the HonorBridge service area, from initial referral through recovery. This role serves as Referral AOC overseeing referral triage and progression toward authorization, as Case AOC overseeing authorized case management through donor management, allocation, and recovery, or both when coverage requires. The AOC directs staffing and resource decisions, exercises independent clinical judgment on organ suitability and allocation, and serves as the primary point of escalation for HonorBridge staff, medical directors, transplant centers, and hospital partners. The AOC is accountable for ensuring donation activity progresses safely and in alignment with OPTN policy and HonorBridge standards, using LifeLogics (LLTN), DonorNet, TigerConnect, and Power BI to coordinate and document clinical activity in real time. This is a remote working opportunity for residents of NC or future residents of NC. This is a night shift position that will require 12-hour shifts including some weekends and holidays.
