About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to perform physical inventories of finished goods within the Material Handling system. The team member will complete all required manual moves and system updates to ensure accurate product inventory, including product transfers and location changes via PC terminal. All inventory corrections and transfers must be properly recorded and filed in the Material Handling office. The team member will regularly check lanes, racks, and all areas of the warehouse to locate, organize, and correct product placement. They will transfer product between areas as needed to improve storage efficiency. The role also requires taking physical counts of the warehouse and direct ship areas and reconciling those counts with system inventory. The team member will be trained in general dock clerk duties, including independently completing bills of lading, manifests, and weight take-offs during weekend operations. All team members are responsible for maintaining safety standards, including but not limited to personal safety and food safety. This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Requirements

  • Candidates with 6 or more attendance points and/or any suspension in the past 12 months will not be considered.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Must be able to read, write, and interpret general equipment safety procedures to ensure safety.
