About The Position
We are seeking an Orderly to join our Operating Room team at Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington, TX. This role focuses on providing support services and specific elements of direct patient care within the Surgical Department. The Orderly will assist with surgery flow, including the turnover of surgical suites, ensuring adequate supplies are available, managing trash disposal, and performing other duties as assigned by the OR RN Coordinator or Director of Surgical Services.
Requirements
- Under the direct supervision of the OR RN Coordinator and OR Director, the Orderly is responsible for support services as well as specific elements of direct patient care given in the Surgical Department.
Responsibilities
- Assist with surgery flow (turnover of surgical suites)
- Assure that adequate supplies are available as needed
- Cleaning
- Trash disposal
- Perform any other duties assigned by his/her Coordinator or the Director of Surgical Services
