About The Position
Orderly needed to assist medical and/or nursing staff with various routine tasks. Duties may include transporting patients, personal care, gathering or moving equipment/supplies, changing lines, cleaning operating rooms, and equipment in a fast pace surgical center environment.
Requirements
- Current American Heart Assn. BLS certificate Required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care and outcomes
- Ability to work well under the supervision of a registered nurse and as part of a healthcare team
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- 6 months in a hospital or surgical center is preferred
