About The Position

This role supports our surgical team by ensuring cleanliness and organization of the operating room before and after surgical procedures. Work closely with Surgical staff to clean and set up the operating room with necessary equipment, and supplies. Assist surgical staff with position and transferring patients onto and off the operating table. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of surgical supplies and equipment and restock as needed. Follow established infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment. Handle and dispose of trash, biohazardous waste and linens according to facility policy. Provide outstanding customer service to patients, staff, and visitors. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to appropriate personnel. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPPA guideline. Adhere to all policies and procedures.

Requirements

Ability to work closely with Surgical staff.
Knowledge of infection control protocols.
Understanding of facility policies for handling and disposing of waste and linens.
Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
Ability to report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA guidelines.
Adherence to all policies and procedures.
