About The Position

Certco, Inc. is seeking 2nd Shift Order Selectors for their warehouse operations. This part-time evening role is ideal for individuals looking for stable evening hours in a fast-paced environment. The Order Selector will accurately and efficiently prepare customer orders, supporting independent grocery stores and their communities. The role is part of a team-focused operation committed to service and reliability.

Requirements

• Sunday - Thursday 4pm - 9pm schedule.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures.
• Knowledge of stock rotation procedures.
• Ability to read and write legibly in English.
• Ability to count accurately and do simple math.
• Must be capable of standing, walking and climbing stairs for extended periods of time.
• Must be capable of climbing, stooping and kneeling.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• High school graduate or equivalent and excellent math skills.
• Must be able to read and understand pick sheets.
• Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers and customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person.
• Ability to read and analyze data on a computer screen and in printed materials.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, to walk; mobility between warehouse and office to contact supervisors and co-workers when needed.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and kneel to perform job duties.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 80 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in an operational environment, including exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and equipment movement when applicable.
• Must comply with all safety requirements, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) when in operational areas.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product is shipped.
• Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms.
• Repack orders when necessary.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Stock product in pick slots.
• Conduct physical inventories as required.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with OSHA and MSDS Standards.
• Meet company standards for productivity.
• Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance Policy.
• Operate powered lift trucks in performance of order selecting duties when required.
• Conduct safety inspections on any equipment used.
• Use of hand-held computers / scanners and voice-enabled computers.
