This role is responsible for selecting and preparing outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and product integrity, and maintaining inventory records. The position operates in a warehouse environment with specific physical demands and requires adherence to food safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Able to meet physical demands required for the position (stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb; able to lift up to 50 pounds)
• Able to work in cold environments and around moving equipment; good visual acuity with ability to distinguish colors
• Able to operate material handling equipment
• Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes but is not limited to: noise, cold temperatures, standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around material handling equipment consistently throughout the shift.
• Physical lifting up to 50-lbs unassisted continuously throughout the shift.
• Wearing personal protective equipment and following all established procedures.
• Good visual acuity with the ability to distinguish colors. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Fine manipulation and hand dexterity, including ability to grip and squeeze; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms
• Must be able to work overtime on a daily and/or weekly basis.

Responsibilities

• Enters and exits equipment to manually select the correct items and correct quantity from warehouse pick locations using ride-on double pallet jacks and Radio Frequency devices, location barcodes, case labels and work orders.
• Completes all outbound orders, including customer orders and intra company stock transfers, in accordance with outlined shipping instructions such as correct pallet type, slipsheet and temperature recording device usage, minimum shelf-life requirement, TixHi and item grouping.
• Palletizes and builds stable and transport ready pallets of various dairy products, ensuring product integrity, accuracy and damage free order fulfillment.
• Securely shrink wraps each pallet of product along with affixing proper pallet tags and/or placards.
• Rotates inventory and maintains accurate inventories and required inventory records.
• Completes daily Powered Industrial Truck Inspection, ensuring safe operation and reporting any concerns to maintenance personnel or shift supervisor.
• Understands and follows Good Manufacturing Practices, Saputo's food safety, quality programs and regulatory requirements.
• Promptly reports all potential quality, food safety, and workplace safety hazards to management team.
• Attends and participates in all required training, shift meetings and committees.
• Other duties as assigned.
