Requirements

  • Perform assigned tasks accurately while meeting production standards in a fast-paced warehouse operation.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in multi-temperature areas as assigned (e.g. freezer, coolers, dry conditions).
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must frequently sit, walk and stand, use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls, and use both feet for repetitive movements as in operating foot controls.
  • Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with the hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior order selecting experience preferred.
  • Prior experience operating power industrial equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete orders by selecting products from the warehouse racks.
  • Assemble, palletize and/or shrink wrap products/pallets for customer orders.
  • Locate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets of dry groceries, dairy products, poultry, fish, beef, pork and related products in specific quantities for delivery to customers by using order sheets or an audio headset.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g. single and double pallet jacks).
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including conducting inspections of powered industrial equipment using a safety checklist.
  • Report damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock/low volume products.
  • Utilize proper wrapping techniques to ensure safety of product to prevent damages.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
