About The Position

This position is responsible for loading and unloading merchandise, checking and verifying merchandise for accuracy and damage, and preparing it for relocation within the distribution center. The role involves replenishing pick areas, filling merchandise orders by selecting items from active locations, and ensuring accurate and undamaged shipments are loaded onto the proper trailers. General housekeeping duties are also required. The Order Selector may perform varied duties depending on department assignment, which can change based on Distribution Center needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs
• Ability to adapt to job duty and department changes as required

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise
• Check, verify and audit merchandise to ensure that ordered merchandise is as ordered and not damaged
• Identify, separate, label and palletize merchandise to be relocated to appropriate area of distribution center
• Replenish pick areas identified by replenishment screens or report various requests for needed merchandise
• Fills merchandise orders by selecting and moving merchandise from active location to conveyor, and/or slot to pallet or box to fill orders
• Check merchandise to ensure that shipment is accurate and merchandise is not damaged and is loaded onto proper trailer
• Perform general housekeeping duties
