About The Position

This is a union position for an Order Selector, requiring availability for both 5:00am-1:00pm and 5:00pm-1:00am shifts, with schedules based on a bid. The role involves safely and accurately selecting customer orders, building, shrink wrapping, and labeling them, and moving them to the loading dock. Key responsibilities also include accurately receiving inbound products, replenishing and managing inventory, performing pre-shift equipment checks, and safely operating powered industrial equipment. Additionally, the position requires performing basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.

Requirements

• 0 to 1 plus years of general work experience
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 75 pounds

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders
• Build orders according to assigned load tickets
• Shrink wrap and label orders
• Move completed orders to the loading dock area of the warehouse
• Accurately receive inbound products
• Replenish and manage inventory as needed
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment within the warehouse
• Perform basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, such as clearing aisles of debris and stacking empty pallets
• Other duties as assigned
