About The Position

Salad and Go is a one-of-a-kind drive-thru concept on a mission to make delicious, nutritious food accessible for all. Recipes crafted by our very own Michelin-star trained chef, are prepared in our central kitchens, and delivered directly to our stores, where our greenies prepare made to order salads, wraps, breakfast burritos and more for our guests. Our food is offered at a price point that ensures accessibility because everyone deserves a delicious meal. We are disrupting the food service industry with a simple model that gives our guests convenient drive-thru, online ordering and delivery options. Salad and Go operates in more than 100+ locations across Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma and Nevada and is expanding rapidly into new states. As part of our mission, Salad and Go puts special emphasis on community outreach and philanthropic initiatives. Our very own Salad and Go Charities focuses on providing nutritious food to communities in need by donating nutrient-rich foods, supporting local programs that address food insecurity, and educating youth on building lifelong healthy habits. Requirements

  • Previous experience as an order selector or in warehouse/distribution operations preferred.
  • Experience utilizing warehouse management systems (i.e. WMS, SAP) and handheld RF scanning guns.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, and team-oriented skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Ability to perform all job duties in refrigerated conditions (35°F–40°F) for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to remain on feet for the majority of the shift while performing repetitive motions including reaching, bending, twisting, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Knowledge of basic food safety practices and applicable GMP, FDA and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability or willingness to learn to safely operate warehouse equipment like electric pallet jacks and forklifts.

Responsibilities

  • Read incoming pick tickets on digital displays to identify required products and quantities.
  • Pick orders accurately while meeting daily productivity goals and quality standards.
  • Verify products, quantities, lot numbers, and expiration dates when required.
  • Stack and organize selected products on pallets according to size, weight, and handling requirements to maintain product quality and prevent shifting, crushing, or damage during transit.
  • Perform visual inspections to verify orders are complete, accurate, and ready for shipment.
  • Operate an automatic shrink-wrapping machine to securely wrap completed pallets and transport them to the designated loading or shipping areas.
  • Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or missing items to the Lead, and assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as assigned.
  • Maintain cleanliness and handle food products in compliance with quality control procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and any other regulations to ensure the highest standards of food safety.
  • Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, hairnets, face masks, and other safety gear, as mandated by OSHA and Company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively to support efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Availability to work overtime and additional shifts, including weekends, as required to meet operational needs.
