Processes orders for material or merchandise received by mail, telephone, or personally from customer or company employee. This role requires the ability to operate various RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and cherry pickers safely and efficiently. The Order Selector is responsible for identifying and selecting the correct product and quantity, determining partial cases when necessary, and assembling products on pallets for transportation while minimizing damage. They also contact Forklift Operators for replenishment, determine product substitutes, check for product "in transit", and open/close containers. The position involves picking and assembling orders, verifying product against picking lists, sorting and placing materials, and moving product using forklifts or pallet jacks. Additionally, the role includes loading and stacking product securely on trucks, assisting with warehouse maintenance and cleaning, performing inventory functions, receiving trucks, and inspecting received products for quality, rotation, and expiration dates.
