Requirements

  • Must have 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience through a single employer in the last 5 years.
  • Must be willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 70lbs cases and occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry up to 90lbs cases.
  • Need full range of motion of arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, all digits, and legs.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with a sense of balance.
  • May work with corrective lenses if vision problems.
  • Must pass post offer health assessment and drug screening.
  • Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Cold storage experience preferred.
  • Composite toe boots preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Stacking of cases onto pallets throughout the refrigerated warehouse using a lowboy forklift.
  • Using a radio frequency (RF) scanner with system generated work lists.
  • Stacking cases of finished beef and pork products with the goal of building full pallets.
  • Willing to lift, push, pull, or carry 70 pounds or more.
  • Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching are required.
  • Willing to work in a cold environment that averages 28°F with an occasional 0°F.
  • Other duties assigned by management.
  • Operating a forklift for gathering cases of beef/pork product throughout a refrigerated warehouse with temperatures ranging from -10° to 30°F.
  • Willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and willing to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, up to (40) pounds during a 12-hour shift.
  • Using a handheld scanner to track products as it is loaded, unloaded, and moved around the facility.
  • Following all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.
  • Willing to cross train and be moved to other areas as needed.
  • Driving PIT including stand-up forklifts and reach trucks for extended times in damp and cold environments with temperatures ranging from -10 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit (Up to 12 hours).
  • Standing or walking up to 100% of the time.
